Behind every ISTA event is a global community of artists, educators and creative practitioners who bring our programmes to life.
Supporting that community involves a great deal of work behind the scenes. From artist onboarding and safeguarding to event information, travel details and contracts, there are many moving parts to manage across countries, time zones and different types of ISTA experiences.
The new ISTA Artist Profile has been created to bring that work together in one place.
Built as part of STAGE Manager, ISTA’s bespoke event management platform, the Artist Profile gives artists a dedicated online space to manage their information, complete onboarding requirements, access event details and review the records they have shared with us.
For artists, this means greater visibility and control over their own information, fewer repeated requests and a clearer way to stay up to date.
For ISTA, it provides a more consistent and effective way to support a large international artist community, strengthen safeguarding processes and manage the many practical details that sit behind every event.
It is another important step in improving the systems that support our work, not by making the process more corporate, but by creating tools that better reflect the complexity, care and collaboration at the heart of ISTA.
ISTA artists: complete your profile by 6 July
Invitations to activate Artist Profiles have now been sent to all current artists by email.
Because STAGE Manager is a new sending platform, some messages may have been directed to spam or junk folders. Artists who have not yet received their invitation should check for an email titled Activate Your ISTA Artist Profile.
All artists working with ISTA are required to activate and complete their profile by 6 July 2026. You do not need to complete everything in one sitting and can return to your profile at any time.
